We strive to connect with our clients and their pets, giving them the best experience with our associates and their medical care. We provide our local communities with exceptional small animal medical care, including wellness and preventative care, wellness plans for pets of all ages, vaccines and elective procedures, dental and nutritional care, parasite prevention, digital radiology and domestic health certificates for travel. Additionally, we provide overnight boarding services for both cats and dogs in our Pet Resort right next door.

Robert Reed
DVM
Dr. Reed received his veterinary degree from Texas A&M University in 1993 and his master degrees in environmental science and public affairs from Indiana University in 1987. Prior to beginning his veterinary career, he worked as a teacher, and as a wildlife biologist in Michigan, Alaska, and Tamaulipas, Mexico. He is a former research fellow with World Wildlife Fund and The Conservation Foundation. Dr. Reed practiced veterinary medicine in Texas, Utah, and Nevada before establishing roots in the Coachella Valley in 2003. As Medical Director he seeks to maintain a standard of exceptional patient care, a strong commitment to client service, and a dedication to involvement with the community of Rancho Mirage.

Rick Klomhaus
DVM, Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Klomhaus was born and raised in Southern California where he attended California State Polytechnic University prior to attending veterinary school at Colorado State University. Dr. Klomhaus took an active role in his veterinary education by serving as the professional veterinary class president and as a member of the ARGUS Institute, (which specializes in end-of-life palliative hospice care for pets). He has a special interest in veterinary oncology, internal medicine and emergency medicine. He completed an additional year of advanced training with an internship in internal medicine, surgery, neurology and emergency medicine at the Veterinary Specialists of Northern Colorado.
